So we've been teasing our 17-year-old daughter because last Saturday evening I drove her and a friend to her high school's Techno dance. We told her "...and no necking..." She replied, "What's that?"
I brought it up to my 14-year-old son just now and he says, "Necking, what's that? Oh wait, is that one of your 'old-fashioned' terms?" He then mimicks his best old lady voice and says, "Well, back in the day..."
Who do these kids think they are? How dare they think that stuff that happened in 'my day' is 'old-fashioned'.
They must think we communicated by drawing on cave walls..... sheesh!
